Sightseeing in KL
Another consequence of our luggage ordeal (still no news btw), is that we had no time to really visit KL. I felt at home immediately (big city, resemblant to London :-) ), but all we managed was a tour on the hop on hop off bus. It still being the rainy season, in the afternoon it is pouring down with rain for a few hours, so we didn’t actually hop off all that often… At least we got an impression of the city.
One thing we missed in Kuala Lumpur but certainly hope to see somewhere is the 1600 pandas exhibition in collaboration with the WWF. They’ve been to France and Italy (skipped Belgium for some reason) and are now on tour in Malaysia. They’re too cute! Check the 1600 pandas page on facebook!
Ps. tip: try not to be on the hop on hop off bus during rush hour, between 5.30pm and 7pm. Even Antwerp traffic moves faster than that bus! :-) We were ok to stay on and let ourselves be chauffeured around, but if you’re pressed for time choose a different time to get on board!
