Hibernation
Home… After the mother of all jetlags hit me I found myself sleeping 12 hours a day. 12 hours, just for the record, is sort of double my usual amount of sleep.
Together with that the frost set in in Belgium. I’m kidding, but that’s how it feels after spending over 4 months in 30°C – hey, 30°C is the new 20°C. So July was all about hibernation. Even though I skipped the winter in Belgium, is it possible that your body can’t just skip a season? Or was it all the impressions and adventures of the last 6 months that had to sink in?
Anyway, now that it’s 30°C outside I feel comfortable and awake again, so I thought I’d make a new post since it’s been a while and I bet you are dying to know what I’ve been up to! I had given up on blogging during my travels due to technical issues, but I am working on getting them fixed.
The last six months I’ve been to Australia, Malaysia and Indonesia. Not that many countries to add to the map, but a lot of ground covered!
And now, you may be wondering what’s next? You can expect some posts about Indonesia and reports on my summer trips. So see you later, if you still want to read me! :)
